Terms and Conditions

BKB Installations

1. Definitions
  • Company: Refers to BKB Installations, its employees, and representatives.

– Client: Refers to the person or business requesting services from the Company.

  • Services: Refers to plumbing, installation, repair, maintenance, and any related work carried out by the Company.
2. Scope of Services
  • All Services provided by the Company will be as agreed upon in the written quotation or estimate accepted by the Client.
  • Any additional work requested by the Client that falls outside the agreed scope will be subject to additional charges.
3. Estimates and Quotes
  • Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time. Actual costs may vary if unforeseen circumstances arise.
  • Any changes to the scope of work will be communicated to the Client and approved before proceeding.
4. Pricing and Payment
  • All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT.
  • Payment terms are as follows:
  • 100% for all furnishings upon acceptance of quote. 50% prior to commencement of installation. 40% upon completion of project. 10% upon handover and client satisfaction.
  • Late payment of final handover figure (10%) may incur interest at 4% per month and/or collection costs.
5. Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled service.
  • Cancellations after this period may result in a cancellation fee.
6. Client Responsibilities
  • The Client must ensure access to the property and any relevant areas for the Company to perform the Services.
  • The Client must provide accurate information about the plumbing system and any potential hazards.
7. Warranty and Liability
  • The Company provides a 12-month warranty on labor and parts supplied by the Company.
  • Warranty is void if repairs or alterations are made by anyone other than the Company.
  • The Company is not liable for pre-existing faults, defects caused by misuse, or issues arising from third-party products or workmanship.
8. Limitations of Liability
  • The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, business interruption, or property damage beyond the scope of the work carried out.
  • The Company’s total liability is limited to the value of the Service provided.
9. Health and Safety
  • The Company complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • The Client must inform the Company of any known hazards on the property.
10. Force Majeure
  • The Company is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, supplier delays, natural disasters).
11. Governing Law
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
